CAN I VISIT PENGUIN PLACE IN PERSON?

You sure can, but be sure to plan ahead. We're located on the 5th Floor of an old warehouse building near the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges in the historic and now trendy Brooklyn waterfront neighborhood called DUMBO (which stands for Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass). Because of the nature of our old building (it's locked downstairs, and there's no working buzzer or bell) you cannot simply waddle into our Igloo.  But, if you're in NYC and would like to waddle on by to shop, say hello, or just see some incredible views of lower Manhattan, just be sure to call or e-mail us ahead of time and make an appointment to visit.  Over the years hundreds of intrepid penguin lovers have visited our Brooklyn Igloo and we will make every effort to accommodate you with directions, and by meeting you downstairs to help facilitate your very special personal Penguin Place experience.

  We're conveniently located only 1 1/2 blocks from the York St. F train station, or a quick cab ride from Manahattan.  Just remember to call or e-mail us ahead of time.
