These beautiful, kiln fired 8" x 8" tiles are works of art that will stand the test of time. The unique 24 hour process of a cycle of heating to 2000 degrees and cooling causes "crazing" which fine lines to appear in the artwork. The lines have no effect on the tiles strength or durability. The tile has a backing stand so they can be displayed like a picture frame or the backing can be removed by soaking them for 12 hours in order to integrate the tiles into any tile system you may have in your kitchen or bathroom.
