According to the owner of these unique looking penguin salt & pepper shakers, these were purchased Amsterdam in the 1980's. They are a little over 2" tall, ceramic, hand painted and do not possess their stoppers any more, so they are more like figurines than functional salt & peppers (unless you find them some stoppers). Other than that they are in very good shape considering all the traveling they've done.
