Hand crafted and kiln fired penguin couple art tile / trivet. Each piece is hand painted with enamel glazes by artisans Kenneth and Jacqueline Besheer, then kiln fired to 2000 to fuse the glass enamels with the clay tile. The rich vivid colors produced from this process are perminent and will never wash or fade away. There is an "o" hook on the back for easy wall mounting, and makes an excellent heat-resistant trivet or hotplate to boot. It's 6" x 6" with a wood and cork backing.
