In the late 1950's and early 60's Chilly Willy was featured in his own quarterly comic book. About forty of these classics were published all together, and each comic book cover was conceived and created by Chilly's legendary creator Walter Lantz. This postcard from August 1960 features a happy Chilly Willy waddling along with a couple of hot water bottles. You wouldn't think a penguin would need hot water bottles to keep warm, but apparently he does.
