What could be more fun than to usher in the festival of lights with an all penguin Menorah. After this the presents, latkes and dreidle spinning is almost an after thought. This wonderful and unique (to say the least), handmade Menorah is a full 12 inches long, the middle candle (or shammish) is 2 1/2" tall, and is flanked on both sides by eight 2" tall penguins perched securely on top of a hand painted weighted (for stability), metal base. Silver cupped candle holders that are a standard fit for Chanukah candles are securely affixed to the top of their heads. This is one unique penguin perfect piece whether you celebrate the festival of lights or not. Something Judah Maccabee himself would have been proud to have owned had only known about penguins in 165 B.C.E..
